The Tax Shoppe is a "home grown" business established in 1991, and has grown into a full service office to serve the residents of Port St. Lucie and the Treasure Coast since 1994.  We have been in our current location since September 1997, located in the Tropical Shoppes of Bayshore at 932 SW Bayshore Blvd in beautiful Port St Lucie Florida.

Our business continues to grow each year as our great city grows. We continue to build our business on the premise that taking care of each individual customer's needs in a timely and professional manner and doing our level best to satisfy their needs.   Our atmosphere is laid back making our customers feel as if they are in a relaxed, yet professional environment.

The Tax Shoppe moves with technology. Our office is completely automated and "paperless."  All tax records are stored in a paperless system that allows us to store more historical information and keep that information updated based on our customer needs.  We are constantly updating to make serving our customer needs our priority.

Our staff offers over 50 years of professional accounting and tax preparation experience.  We prepare thousands of personal and business tax returns each and every year.  We also offer a complete line of business consulting and small business start-up experience from establishing "S" Corporations, to monthly bookkeeping and payroll and completing the process with preparing corporate tax returns for the IRS and the State of Florida.

To our current and future business clients:  "Anyone can prepare a tax return" but it takes The Tax Shoppe to offer a thorough analysis of your business needs and a detailed plan for the future so your business can prosper and offer security to you and your family as it grows and becomes more valuable..  Joe Edge, the owner and founder of The Tax Shoppe, started his business from the ground up in his home in 1991 and built it to what it is today.

Some of the services we offer include income tax preparation, electronic tax filing, small business startup, bookkeeping and payroll services, preparing legal documents for your individual needs such as wills, living wills & health care surrogate, and other related services.  The Tax Shoppe also is an authorized dealer for Intellitax income tax preparation and electronic filing software.
